Care Ministries
At First Church, we are constantly seeking to make sure all the generations represented in our church are cared for in as many ways as we are able. This takes many forms. Trained Lay Ministers care for individuals and families. Stephen Ministers visit every day in hospitals, nursing homes and in private homes to see those who are sick, lonely or homebound. Our Care Task Force contacts and prays for the sick and homebound. Our Telecare Friends call shut-ins or anyone needing a caring call during the week. We encourage and give assistance to those who are in need. We also have support groups that meet a variety of needs, from Alzheimers support to grief recovery.If you have a need for someone to care about you, please let us know by calling 970-667-0876.
